Three things worth knowing before you book
No northern corridor has sleeper berths, so sixteen to twenty-four hours to Gilgit or Skardu is seated throughout. Several places have no bus at all, including Fairy Meadows, Deosai, Ratti Gali and the Kalash valleys. And the Kaghan valley road is seasonal, closing around November, so a ticket to Mansehra tells you nothing about whether Naran is reachable.
